How we make money
PowerfulCooling is a reader-supported, independent review site. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the merchant or its affiliate network pays us a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be had you gone to the merchant directly.
What that does and does not buy
It does not buy a positive review. We publish the drawbacks of every product we cover, including the ones we earn from, and those criticisms cost us money. No merchant is given the opportunity to read, approve or amend a review before it is published. We have never accepted payment in exchange for a rating.
How our reviews are produced
Unless a review explicitly states that we bought and tested a unit ourselves, our reviews are documentary. That means we read the seller's sales page, FAQ, terms, shipping policy and refund policy; compare every performance claim against what the manufacturer actually publishes; and look for independent customer feedback outside the seller's own website.
Where a figure is a manufacturer's claim, we say so and attribute it. Where information is missing, we say it is missing rather than estimating it. We do not present a claim as a measured result.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site is professional advice. We are not engineers, electricians or installers. Heating and cooling appliances draw significant current: always follow the manufacturer's instructions, avoid overloaded extension leads, and consult a licensed electrician if you have any doubt about your home's wiring.
Accuracy and change
Prices, discounts, bundles, stock and shipping terms are set by the merchant and change frequently. Figures on this site were accurate at the time of writing and are dated wherever they appear. Always confirm the final price, currency and any pre-selected extras on the merchant's last checkout screen before paying.
